A disqualified driver who drove at 90mph during a police chase before hitting a garden wall has been jailed.
After smashing the back window of the flipped VW Golf and attempting to escape, Liam Woods was arrested in a nearby garden in Gomersal Hill Top, Kirklees.
The 25-year-old told officers, who had followed him from Tong Road, Bradford, that he "would have smoked you if I had known where I was going".
Woods, of Kirkdale Crescent, Farnley, Leeds, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance, and was sentenced to 16 months in prison at Bradford Crown Court earlier.
