Singer Charli XCX says she was brought to tears after collaborating with former The Velvet Underground member John Cale on her latest track.
House is the first song released from her contribution to the soundtrack for the new film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which is set to be released next year.
The song features a spoken word section from Welsh musician Cale, which includes a screamed chorus of, "I think I'm 'gonna die in this house".
The 33-year-old said in an Instagram post she is a huge fan of Cale's 1960s band, fronted by Lou Reed, and was inspired by a documentary in which Cale described their song-writing process as "elegant and brutal".
